From 12/07/15 notes. At Rattle 'N Hum in NYC.
A decent beer. Didn't get as much citrus of hops as some people are saying. Not my favorite of their beers.

A: Pours a hazy golden amber color with an airy off white head that disappears and leaves no lace and appears moderately carbonated.
S: Fruity notes of apricot, grape, pineapple, peach. A bit musty and chalky. A touch of alcohol. A hint of floral, potpourri like bouquet.
T: Crackery malt. Barely tart. A definite rye and mild peppery spiciness to the dry finish that lingers nicely.
M: Moderately carbonated. Smooth.
D: Overall a nice saison with a twist due to the rye that I really enjoy.

A: The beer is hazy yellowish amber in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down but consistently left a thin head covering the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of Belgian yeast are present in the nose.
T: As in the smell, the taste has flavors of Belgian yeast and hints of rye and peppery spices. Faint bits of nectarines are also perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer is easy to drink but only has faint amounts of spicy rye.

The beer offers orange peel and fruity esters up front, then onto a strong Brett character, a biscuity malt in the middle, almost with a clean rice characteristic. The finish is dry and clean. A really refreshing Brett saison with a decent malt backbone.
Another exceptional saison Transmitter.
