Central Jersey Beer Fest.
On Tap to 2 oz. tasting glass.
LOOK: cloudy black brown. decent thick head.
AROMA: nutmeg, touch of clove
TASTE: barley, ash, apple, nutmeg, clove. OK, but leaving a lot on the table. Expecting a bolder taste.
FEEL: thin for a darker beer; doesn't hold the winter flavors.
Others with me liked this more than I. Not bad, but not a great execution of this style.
