The beer pours out into a Duvel glass a lightly hazed brright golden color with fluffy white head that almost spills over the rim of the glass. The head recedes slowly leaving batches and long legs off lacing on the sides of the glass and a nice thin layer on the top of the liquid. Sipping cleans the side of the glass leaving behind just a few small scattered speckles
The aromas include some citrus, some fruity and floral notes all backed up by a spicy, almost peppery aroma from the yeast.
The flavors are much as expected from the nose with the citrus, fruity and floral notes supported by a white pepper of the spicy yeast. There is also a slight herbal character in the background.
The mouthfeel is medium bodied and slightly prickly with moderate carbonation. The finish begins about midway through as the lemon, fruity and floral flavors begin to fade a bit allowing both the spicy yeast to become more prominent before fading into the lightly herbal finish that eventually becomes dry.
My overall impression is that this is a very well made saison that is quite good and I could easily have another. While I won't make a special effort to seek out more of this one I'll certainly keep it on the "fine to buy" list and be happy to get some--a nice change of pace beer.

Pours a bright yellow straw color. Very cloudy throughout. Thick pillowy white head dissipates leaving a thin layer of velvety film on top of the beer. No lacing is left behind.
Smell has notes of grain, yeast, pear, apple, pepper, and some floral hop notes.
Taste has notes of grain and some floral hop notes followed by some light apple, pear and lemon notes. A tad grassy on the finish. The yeast is quite subtle. There is some spice on the back end and lingering into the finish.
Feel is light and drinkable. Mild carbonation. Semi-dry finish.
Overall this is a nice drinkable saison.

Poured from can into shaker, nice 1 finger cream colored head , nice lacing. Hazy golden in the glass. Smells of malt, farmhouse yeast, taste pretty much there, some slight clove, small amount of banana, and some lemon. Finish is spicy and dry. Great saison, GA must be proud

Lyric Ale has a thick, creamy, stark-white head, an opaque, yellow appearance, some lazy bubbles, and fairly significant and heavy glass lacing. Aroma is of lemon and white wheat bread, and the taste is the same, with some spiced bread notes. Forget bitterness or brettanomyces, here. Mouthfeel is medium, and Lyric Ale finishes crisp.

Nose citrus, grassy hops, light barnyard, floral, zest, herbs, straw, light spice. Taste fruity esters, grassy hops, light clove, pepper, banana, lemon peel. Dry crisp bitter finish.

12 oz can poured into a tulip
A- A cloudy golden straw color with a three finger fluffy white head.
S- Light fruit, pears, citrus, peppercorns, some nice Saison yeast, floral.
T- A surprise hint of light fruit tartness/apples, citrus, light fruits, nice malts, floral, hints of peppercorns, just enough yeast.
M- Smooth, light to medium body.
O- A cool looking can with a tasty Saison inside. I did like their Tart Plum Saison a little more, but is is still a well brewed Saison.
