Didn’t plan on picking up any more beer after spending way too much earlier in the day, but still picked up some more as this one caught my eye. Canned description caught my eye - Imperial Pie-inspired Kettle Sour Ale with Blueberries, Vanilla & Milk Sugar. Alvarado website description read, “The imperial, creamy version of Biggie's Blueberry. We've made it bigger and added milk sugar in addition to all the fruit, vanilla, and oats. Insanely delectable!”
Poured a purple grape murky color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy purple grape head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent foamy lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled blueberry, followed right away by vanilla, blueberry yogurt, blueberry juice, blueberry puree, blueberry milkshake, hints of purple grape and floral notes. Better out of the can than the glass. Really great on the nose. (Smell - 4.75)
Taste was not as good as the nose, but still awesome. In order got blueberry yogurt, blueberry juice, vanilla, blueberry puree, blueberry milkshake, blueberry jam, hints of purple grape and floral. That 8 pct. ABV was well hidden. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.75)
Just a tremendous beer. So much flavor. Would love to have it again. (Overall - 4.50)

Sweet and tart, jammy blueberry, and prominent sweet vanilla nose on this one! Taste follows exactly with a mildly tart, vanilla-blueberry finish. This is juicy and tasty! Good!

Biggie's pours a deep, dark berry purple with a small, fizzy and loose pink head that depositing some spotty lacing. The smell is tart, but not overpowering as you take in a hint of blueberry sweetness with a light vanilla. The taste is excellent! Thick and creamy over the palette with a slight tartness but a big blueberry presence and enough sweetness to give this kettled sour a delicate balance.
