The imperial, creamy version of Biggie's Bountiful Berry Blast, featuring a blend of blueberry, raspberry, blackberry & strawberry. We've made it bigger and added milk sugar in addition to all the fruit, vanilla, and oats for an over-the-top, barely-beer drinking experience!

Misc.: Canned on Nov. 10, 2020
Grabbed a mixed 4-pack of Alvarado Street at Blind Lady Ale House. Kind of surprised I save this one this long. Really loved something similar I had of Alvarado Street called Biggie’s Bodacious Blueberry Brunch Bonanza, giving it a 4.59 on Dec. 28, 2019. Front of the can of this one called it “Imperial Pie-Inspired Kettle Sour Ale with Blackberry, Raspberry, Blueberry, Strawberry, Milk Sugar and Vanilla.” Seemed perfect for a post-Christmas dinner.
Poured a chestnut brown murky color with two fingers of purplish-amber frothy head, which dissipated quickly. Could see some bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Below average watery lacing. Bad retention. (Sight - 3.00)
Smelled tons of different flavors right away, some appealing and some not. In order got strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, floraly perfume, vanilla, mixed berry yogurt and some purple grape. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted better than the nose. Wow. Lots of sugary sweet berries. In order got blackberry, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, floraly perfume, vanilla, mixed berry yogurt, leftover Fruity Pebbles milk, purple grape and Smarties candy. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy-to-sticky texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt, sugary sweet finish. (Feel - 4.25)
May have slightly overrated this overall, but excellent. (Overall - 4.25)

Sweet and tart triple berry (blackberry, blueberry, raspberry), hint of strawberry, and hint of vanilla nose on this one! Taste follows with a tart berry and vanilla finish. The sour/tart vibes from the berries lingers on the palate a bit. This has a nice mouthfeel for a kettle sour... you can tell it's bringing some heat. Good!
