A thoughtfully crafted Pilsner with a decidedly West Coast feel. Crafted to preserve the crackery, nuanced sweetness of fresh Pilsner malt in a crisp, easy drinking package. Fermented cool and spunded for natural carbonation that delivers tight lacing & foam structure with well-integrated effervescence. A perfect canvas for applying progressive hopping techniques and showcasing some of our favorite hops: Mosaic, Citra and Strata. A hint of pine supports bright notes of tangerine, lime, and sweet red fruit that blend seamlessly and evolve through a finish that features an enticing bitterness.

From Star Grocery
There’s depth in the nose: retains the cracker malt, but first impressions are tropical, west coast hops. There’s also an enticingly earthy component.
Taste is very good, with good complexity of flavor. There’s a pronounced presence of west coast hops, including layers of tropicality and even subtle dankness. But there’s still a strong Pilsner essence, including layers of characterful malt essence. The two profiles are present in a harmonious blend, each demonstrating layered nuance, yet managing to complement the other. It straddles the line between the two styles most admirably. Fascinating. A true craft brew, bordering on a work of art.

Faint hint of honey-bread malts, and a nice kick of tropical hoppy and orange citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a subdued, lemony-honey malty, and tasty, new school hoppy finish. This is enjoyable, but drinks more like an IPL or a Pale Ale IMO. To be a true west coast pils, the hops definitely need to shine, but it needs to hold on for dear life to it's pilsner roots while doing so. This needs a touch more maltiness upfront to accomplish that.
