Collaboration with WeldWorks.

For batch eighteen we didn't exactly re-invent the wheel but took inspiration from familiar flavors and what we thought would pair well with cold weather and the holiday season. The result is pure indulgence - featuring Ceylon cinnamon, Madagascar vanilla beans and dulce de leche. The perfume of Ceylon cinnamon permeates each sip and enlivens the palate coating richness of Madagascar vanilla. Then the irresistible flavor of caramel slowly intensifies, takes hold, and stays with you long after the finish. This is a stronger Motor Oil than usual, clocking in at 13.5%. You can thank the Weldwerks stout lourds for that, and we're certainly grateful to incorporate their process a bit and push the series into new heights.

Was lucky enough to have Kevin purchase this and a hazy TIPA. as a Black Friday day with no shipping. Poured a pitch-black color with three fingers of khaki-tan frothy head. Could see a lot of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)

Smelled vanilla, milk chocolate, marshmallow, cinnamon, allspice, caramel, toffee and cake. Not quite as good from the can. (Smell - 3.75)

Tasted much better than the nose. In order got vanilla, milk chocolate syrup, marshmallow, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, caramel, toffee, churro and coffee cake. Super smooth for 13.5 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.25)

Medium body. Sticky texture. Soft carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.75)

Probably not as good as I thought it would be but I still really enjoyed it. (Overall - 4.25)

16oz can. Stamped on can bottom is 'CANNED ON 11/23/2022 10W-40'.
Dark cola brown colored body, with mahogany back lit edge. Brief light tan head, which results in an active surface storm. No lacing.
Aroma is strong with vanilla and caramel, with more minor cinnamon.
Taste is sweet with medium dark chocolate, vanilla and caramel, but with the spiciness of cinnamon. Caramel really surges forward at the end, and then extends into the aftertaste. Dark roasted malts base.
Medium mouth feel, with some stickiness. No mouth burn. Supportive carbonation.
Balanced inputs from the malts, vanilla, caramel and cinnamon. Higher ABV% is well hidden.
