Poured from a 330ml bottle into a pint glass.

Pours a pale yellow colour with some lacing and a small, lackluster head.

Smells quite average, slight hops and a hint of malts.

Tastes quite nice, like a normal lager with slightly more hops added giving it more of a crisp bitter finish.

Overall a nice lager, not much to write home about but still alright.

Beer has a yellow color with a creamy head. The aroma was a generic bland beer, not skunky. The taste was crisp and refreshing, with no lingering aftertaste. It is a drinkable brew, good for a couple of drinks. It is not quite what I expected in a German pilsner.

On tap at the Hard Rock (ya I stopped for a beer) in Germany (reviewed from notes). This brew had a very light, almost washed out, golden color. There was a 3/4 in white head with some lacing. The smell was bland with no attributes jumping out. Taste was similar, but refreshing none the less. That was the last Ayinger I had on my trip.

Yellow greenish. White creamy head, less at the sides, it tends to fall a little.
Not very fresh smell, for a pils. Malt, and the hop is somewhat in the background.
Taste: here we are re-entering in the typical german pils territory: hop, dry grass, hay. It has a quite dry finish.
In the aftertaste a good hop, that lingers for a quite long time. Grassy and dry.
Good drinkability.

I wasn't mind blowing, but German Pilsners are always OK by me. Crisp and clean, slightly sweet, with a slightly bitter finish (relatively dry), not one i'd actively search out, but drinkable.
