Raw oak bomb. Reddish orange tone with lasting skim and drippy lacing. Huge oaky vanilla aroma, round and lightly sweet, tiny fruity hibiscus note as it warms.

Taste is much the same, very oak forward, hibiscus is obliterated, but in a good way. Dry finish, medium bodied. I'm a sucker for a hugely oaky beer, and this certainly fits the bill.

Cask: Poured a bright yellow color ale with a small foamy head. Aroma of rosehips and hibiscus with some cereal notes is pleasant. Taste is also a mix of rosehips and hibiscus with light cereal notes and light residual sugar notes. Body is about average. Pretty enjoyable and refreshing.

Poured from a bottle into a tulip

A. Pours a mostly transparent amber copper color with a small white head that lingers for a minute.

S. Smells very nice. Banana and citrus fills the nose with some papaya along with the normal saison aroma.

T. Banana again and some cherry coming through. Traditional coriander saison spice flavor with a decent alcohol bite in the aftertaste. Juicy and satisfying.

M. Little heavier than a traditional saison. More light DIPA mouthfeel. Creamy. Low carbonation but its there.

O. Really diggin this beer. It's more of a hybrid pale ale/saison or a belgian dubbel . Nonetheless I just really like it. Flavor is really good. Aroma is good. Enjoyable.
