i dont think i love this base gose, no matter what they put in it, its just sort of thick and messy to me, but that said, this is my favorite iteration i have had of it so far. i think the passion fruit is out in front of the other fruits, but thats cool, because it seems to have a similar tartness and sweetness as the base beer itself, and that is a nice unity. the peach tastes fresh and natural to me too, and i like the sweetness balancing out some of the sourness of the gose. this doesnt taste salty to me though, and i sort of miss it here, it would accent some of the fruit in a needed way, and it would help some of the sweetness resolve in the finish, but instead its just the acid there. sort of jammy and thick too, not as light and refreshing as i like the style to be, almost overly wheaty and fruity, kind of the opposite of what i look for in the style from a texture standpoint, but i find myself enjoying its substance and layers. this isnt my favorite series these guys do, but i understand they need something in the taproom that they can turn around a little faster than some of the oak aged wild beers. good not great, but definitely unique...
