DDH with Belma, El Dorado, Mosaic. We decide to take inspiration from Higher Burnin' and amp it up! Brewed with an enormous amount of oats leaving it super creamy. Pops of overripe berries with orange marmalade on the finish.

L: A murky juice, the way real pineapple juice is darker than you expect. A two finger dense orange-tinged froth settling somewhat quickly to a fuzzy cap. Insignificant dots of lace.
S: Strong pine sap and booze overwhelm an otherwise soft orange and plum aroma.
T: Follows the nose with the bitter bite of pine and spirits.
F: A medium to heavy weight with plenty of sticky sugars and loads of gum-tingling carbonation.
O: An interesting ride but a bit of a stomach full and intensity I expect from a percent higher ABV.

16oz can served in a big snifter. Dated 03/18/2020. Gift from @mr-jj.
Pours super hazy whitish-amberish color with a medium sized head and plenty of carbonation. Smell is a little booze, a little biscuit, a lot more pineapple and orange.
Taste is drier, more of a hollowed-out resin flavor (it tastes like resin but it doesn't hit you in the face like resin). A little pineapple is still there but I don't get much citrus. Well, after a couple sips, maybe I should take that back -- it hits you in the face a bit. I like these NEIPAs that don't turn into a syrupy juice bomb.
Mouthfeel is thick but dry -- almost gritty texture. Overall, it's a nice solid beer.

Can delivered from the brewery in Queens during the COVID-19 lockdown. Pours a hazy light yellow with fluffy head and decent lacing, smell is a citrus fruit slurry with hints of doughy sweetness, taste is chewy orange zest cake with a nice mild citrusy sharpness, this beer is thick and creamy. A citrus candy treat with insane can art.

Can to tulip.
The appearance was a semi-opaque burnt orange color with a two finger white foamy head that took it's time in settling down. Light messy lace.
The aroma had some berry sweetness (blend of blueberries, elderberry and blackberries) running through some cantaloupe/melon tones. Lemon pulpy sweetness and cream slide in underneath.
The flavor tried to blend all of the prior mentioned aromas together but seemed to slightly lead with the melon/lemon/berries initially. Some clean biscuity malts shine through with some warmth. Mild aftertaste of melon and biscuits.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sipping quality about it. Bitterness seemed quite toned down through the creamy aspects. Soft carbonation felt right. Appropriate ABV. Finish of berries, melon and biscuits.
Overall, could be construed as a New England styled IPA but still brewed well enough to enjoy again.

Traded for this earlier this year as this was the last offering from LIC that I've obtained for my stash. The reviews for this were quite good and once this liquid warmed up - it was easy to see why. Full, juicy, and easy to crush, this was an imperial that begged to be enjoyed and quaffed in a relatively short amount of time. Without a doubt, this was one of LIC's better offerings on par with Pile of Crowns...
Good pour to this as the beer was dank, cloudy, and a muted dandelion in hue. Plenty of head topped this off as the lacing that remained was in the form of thin but well-defined rings that were slightly tilted around the inside of my pint glass. Plenty of melon, cantaloupe, tangerine, orange, and cream in the nose as this had such an appealing aroma for not being terribly strong. Dank tropical fruit rind, lime pith, and sweet sugary cream took hold as the taste fully emerged as this fully warmed up. It grew on me as there as a lot going on here although everything coalesced seamlessly when all was said and done.
There was a enough booze here but most of it was recessed as the flavors were allowed to dominate and linger of it. A slight warming effect took hold of me once I finished this off but the oddly pleasing taste that bordered on vegetal really grew on me, long after I finished this off. This needed a date and accompanying words on the bottom of the can but no matter - this was a winner from LIC, down to the trippy pink elephant on the label. Just wish these guys got more love from those in this neck of the woods!

2018/07/26. A growler.
Quite nice aroma. Bomb of tropical fruits.
Initial sip brings grapefruits, mango, pineapple etc.
Great balance.
Later, after the temp. going up, bitterness start to insist existence.
But still, quite enjoyable balance.
One of the great IPA.
