Born Day is our Third Anniversary Imperial Stout. What’s a birthday celebration without cake? Born Day is a 12% Imperial Stout brewed with hundreds of pounds of cake batter and conditioned on vanilla beans. This stout has a huge mouthful from all the cake batter! Notes of funfetti birthday cake with chocolate frosting. This imperial stout was inspired by the kid in us that doesn’t want to grow up.

Smells and pours ok but tastes even better!! Just like a coconut birthday cake with a rich vanilla frosting. Great beer, would definitely get more if I could

Can to snifter. Following BBA Sunday Brunch.
LOOK;: dark black small to medium can head okay retention.
AROMA: oyster Stout Irish Stout lots of raw and roasted barley.
TASTE: toasty stout. Light Marshmallow. Light vegetable.
Feel: thick, Not quite as thick as say 10Fidy, but close. The12% gives it some heat, but it's not unsmooth.
Very nice stout. First malty beer I've had from Magnify and I'm impressed.

Reviewed on release day. Poured from 16 oz. can into Magnify tulip glass. It pours an oily ink black with a half finger of foamy, mocha-colored head and a thin coating of lacing. The aromatic nose features lactose, bubblegum, coffee, nuts, and roasted malt. It's very sweet. The first thing I taste is rich chocolate - like a brownie, along with vanilla, confectioner's sugar, roasted malt, and nuts. You can also taste the alcohol. This stout is rich and creamy, with light carbonation, and you can really feel the 12% ABV. This stout achieves its goal of tasting like a chocolate cake. The only problem is its sweetness, which is overpowering. It's a tasty dessert beer but one pour is enough.
