Make You Feel is a 5.9% farmhouse inspired ale brewed with barley, wheat, spelt, buckwheat, and European hops. We then pump the wort into the koelschip at 74F while pitching two expressive saison yeast strains and allow to open ferment for 48 hours. After 48 hours, we drained the koelschip into freshly dumped French oak Pinot Noir barrels from a high end Napa producer. We then inoculated with our house culture, and brought the barrels over to our Funkhaüst to finish fermentation and condition for many months. After 15 months in the barrels, we blended the barrels together, bottled the blend, and let bottle condition for 3 months. This is one of the most beautifully refined beers we’ve ever produced. Elegant aromatics of freshly poured Pinot, delicate musty oak/cellar, balanced acidity, subtle honey, hay, perfect carbonation level, Chardonnay mouthfeel, and overall extremely vinous. We are absolutely in love with this one!

The beer pours a nice white and creamy foam head that dissipates at a moderate pace but still leaves a good cover over the surface. The beer itself is a very good looking clear golden yellow that looks very nice.
The smell is good. It has a good and balanced smell with the different notes contrasting and supporting each other very well. The main note is a moderate funk note with a hint of tannin and oak barrel. There is a bit of an orange hop smell mixing with the other notes while a light honey note occasionally comes out to add a bit of a contrast.
The taste is pretty good. It has the same notes as the smell but the intensity of each note differs. The funk is the same but the orange note is a bit stronger and adds a bit of bitterness that is a nice contrast to the wooden oak note. The red wine is a bit lighter but adds a nice acidity to it. The honey present in the smell only comes out a little bit in the finish along with a slight bread note.
The feel is pretty. It's a light bodied beer but with a solid and smooth texture to it. It has a slightly dry finish to it. There is some slight tingling carbonation to it.
Overall, this is a fantastic saison that I highly recommend and hope that they continually bring back.

Received in a trade and shared with JLindros.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great tulip a nice slightly hazy golden hue with a thin white head that fades to leave light wisps.
S - Aromas of pleasant vinous notes, good light grape. Very pleasant almost drie fonteinen like funk. Good funk and horse blanket, nice acidity as well.
T - Taste is similar to the nose with excellent wine barrel notes, nice pleasant funk and tartness. Really good almost geueze like notes, very good acidity as well.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, very little carbonation, feels thin and watery.
O - Overall this was a very solid wine saison from Veil. There are tons of great positive notes here! Really enjoyed.

Thanks to rudzud
Light fizzy bubbly small head fades quickly, fairly hazy golden honey color
Nose is basically a Drie Fonteinen level lambic funk, earthy funk but not much horseblanket, fair acidity, nice bacteria acidic funk, a decent wine barrel note in the background, a touch lemony acidic fruity funk, mild vinous wine, fair fruitiness
Taste brings more lambic like but lighter, some funk but less, not much funk in general maybe a touch of barnyard funk, more acidic fruity flavors, lemony tart acidity, bacteria funk, more wine barrel that the nose, nice mild red wine vinous notes, a little oaky note, mild flemmy acidity esp on the finish,
Mouth is med to a bit thinner, carbonation a bit light too but not bad,
Overall very nice, although there are things that could pop more, esp the mouth, otherwise very nice.

This is super interesting and i am exited to see how it matures in the bottle. On draft at veil. Along the lines of Spon and Blended, this has really great spontaneous veins with a touch more acetic acid than the former. Like a saison version of cantillon geuze. Overall very tasty
