Sleeping Forever is our Anniversary Imperial Stout. Brewed fresh for cans with a small portion of 12 month old Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel aged Sleeping Forever blended in to add depth. Sleeping Forever is a full bodied, silky, and thick experience of rich chocolate, very complex malt, burnt sugar, acceptable amount of roast, sweet tobacco, and leather.

16 oz. can from April 2020, poured into Kane tulip glass and allowed to warm.
L: Beer is dark brown. 1 F brown head, some retention, but no lacing and only a thin ring after a little while.
S: Chock full of roasted malts, very faint bourbon barrel hints. Unsweetened cocoa, caramel, leathery hints.
T: Roasty and chocolatey, some hints of leather and caramel and very faint oak. Their restraint with the barreled portion really pays off. Finish is neutral, not boozy.
F: Full bodied, no carbonation. Very good construction and balance. Smooth drinking.
O: As good as this stout, their flagship, has ever been.
