Sleeping Forever is our Anniversary Imperial Stout. Brewed fresh for cans with a small portion of 12 month old Buffalo Trace bourbon barrel aged Sleeping Forever blended in to add depth. Sleeping Forever is a full bodied, silky, and thick experience of rich chocolate, very complex malt, burnt sugar, acceptable amount of roast, sweet tobacco, and leather.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated 4/16/2020 into a Willi Becher pint glass.
L - Pours a dark brown, almost black, color with a slight tan head that dissipates slowly.
S - Smells of chocolate and booze.
T - Tastes of chocolate and cherry cordials
F - Full bodied and lightly carbonated
O - Nice boozy stout

16 oz. can from April 2020, poured into Kane tulip glass and allowed to warm.

L: Beer is dark brown. 1 F brown head, some retention, but no lacing and only a thin ring after a little while.

S: Chock full of roasted malts, very faint bourbon barrel hints. Unsweetened cocoa, caramel, leathery hints.

T: Roasty and chocolatey, some hints of leather and caramel and very faint oak. Their restraint with the barreled portion really pays off. Finish is neutral, not boozy.

F: Full bodied, no carbonation. Very good construction and balance. Smooth drinking.

O: As good as this stout, their flagship, has ever been.
