16oz can split between a pair of WABL sample glasses. Dated 12/17/20. Gift from my brother in law. He most likely got it from the Georgetown location.
Pours black, looks thick like tar, small head, little to no carbonation, basically opaque. Smell is cinnamon, roasted coffee, and a little chocolate.
Taste is some boozy burn, cinnamon is there, a bit too strongly but thankfully not dominant. Still tons of roasted coffee, and chocolate is more noticeable. Lots going on, but all going in the same direction.
Mouthfeel is thick, magically not sticky. Overall, this is a very nice stout. I wish it had 25% (or 0%) of the cinnamon.

Love Great Notion. If you are from Portland OR you know this place. Some incredibly creative beer and great people.
Look: like all other GN stouts, pitch black, small finger size head, no lacing at all.
Smell: sweet roast, booze, dark chocolate
Taste: front end roast, sweet with some dark chocolate in the middle, trailing vanilla. If you swirl this one around a little and REALLY reach, you might get some super faint notes of citrus.
Feel: full, sweet.sticky, trace carbonation, boozy finish
Eh- if you like boozy and roasty this is a good stout. It is advertised as an imperial stout with chocolate, vanilla and orange peel. There is no real chocolate, no vanilla and no orange peel. I got this in a four pack and will down the others but will not be back for more.
