Luminous is our series of Sour Hazy IPA's and each batch is uniquely different. The dry-hop and fruit varieties change, but the base beer remains the same. Luminous 08 was fermented with Lactobacillus, our house yeast and fresh raspberry. The malted oats, milk sugar & vanilla beans make for a truly enlightening experience!

16oz can served in a WABL sample glass. Dated 12/23/20. Bought it at Georgetown Great Notion.
Pours a brilliant pink-purple color, clear, with a light pink head and medium to low carbonation. Smell is super jammy, tons of berry, a little resin. There's some obvious vanilla I wouldn't have noticed if my wife hadn't pointed it out.
Taste is primarily tart-juicy, just enough to support the jammy tartness. Just the slightest amount of resinous bite.
Mouthfeel is the same as cranberry juice. Overall, very nice beer.
