Can poured into a Mountain Rambler Brewery pint glass
A: Pours slightly hazy golden yellow with a frothy off white head that settles to a thin layer and leaves some spotty lacing.
S: Sweet tropical fruit leads the chare, ever so slightly floral, very mild tartness, biscuity bready malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
T: Plenty of tropical fruit as expected, big peach and mango, mandarin orange, pineapple juice, passion fruit, plus faint hints of strawberry, banana, and melon, a bit floral, mild tartness, biscuity bready malt, and caramel honey sweetness.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: After seeing the fruits they used, especially the mangosteen knowing everything that it brings, I had to give this one a try. It's fun and interesting, the initial hit is pretty peach/mango heavy, but there's definitely more going on underneath. My main gripe is how sweet it sits and how mild the tartness is. It's not quite to cloying, but by the bottom of a pint it starts to get to ya. Would be a good sipper in a hammock on the beach though.

16oz can served in a tulip-y wineglass. I think the date is 09.05.23.
Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a slight amber tinge. Head is small and short-lived, leaves a thin ring and a ghost of a dusting across the surface. Smell is kettle sour, pineapple, mango, general tropical fruit. Tart.
Taste is muted on the kettle sour front (thankfully). Super strong on the pineapple juice and pineapple-adjacent tartness. Some general overripe tropical fruit vibe.
Mouthfeel is a little bit on the heavy and sticky side. Overall...if you're looking for a tropical fruit punch, this'll nail it for you.

Pours not quite like a hazy from the 16oz can. Classic straw-gold with a fluffy white head. Lots of tart fruitiness, very aromatic, tropical, and juicy. Passionfruit and mango lead the way. Puckering sourness at times but not overwhelming, leans more into the tropical juicy fruit. Enjoyable.

nice combination of tropical fruit in this, drinkable as sours go, but for me not the most refined or dialed in great notion brew, like the base sour isnt anything special, i always expect special from these guys, and this really didnt present like top tier stuff. orange colored and a little haze from the tap, glossy looking still, short fizzy head falling fast, tart and tangy nose, mouthwatering, lemony, slightly soapy, definitely sweet from mango, passion fruit is forward too, white grape, apricot, lots of fruit nuance to this, a little sweaty sock thing on the souring but subtle. the flavor is cool, the fruits go well together, and while i dont have much experience with mangosteen, i like what it seems to do in here, tangy and accentuating the other fruits, orange and lemon notes, light vanilla sweetness with the fleshy natural mango, and this all seems authentic and unforced, even if the base beer is unremarkable, the fruit makes it good. some stink to the sourness, some up front sharpness but not overly sour on the whole, wheaty and even a little doughy underneath, but simple in terms of malt. faint coconut and green grape at the end, off dry. lots to like here, especially the exotic fruit profile, but take that away and this is not one of the more impressive great notion offerings. i am still stoked to have this on draft in idaho though, and hope they keep them coming. i just always expect the world from their beers, maybe this one pops a little more from the can, i hope to find out...

Warm golden glow with no real head. Tropical fruit aroma; passionfruit and mango. Juicy tart taste with delicious passionfruit and mango. Finishes sour and clean. Good.

Bright yellow opaque body with a white collar. Aromas of mango, passion fruit and what I guess must be the mangosteen with very playful sourness. Taste is a mirror of the nose only the mangosteen, more distinct now, trumps the passion fruit slightly, very tangy, all together creates a refreshing fruity sour. Feel is bright, smooth, playfully sour and cool. Again more tangy than anything Fun in the sun kind of beer

Look: cloudy golden
Smell: getting mango, guava and an earthy scent I cannot place
Taste: very tart mango like flavor, followed by a hint of passion fruit.
Feel: not thin at all, the flavors coat your palate.
Overall: Not a fan of sours, yet this is very interesting. Quite tart as you'd expect. might pair well with rich food.
