Spent way too much on a recent trip to Windmill Farms, including four Great Notion beers. Untappd description was “A joint effort with our friends at Claim 52, Baked and Stuffed is a thicc tart ale with raspberry, banana, graham cracker, hazelnut, and marshmallow.”
Poured a rose (according to my wife) opaque color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see just a few bubbles creeping up toward the top of the glass. Perfect pulpy lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Banana and vanilla jumped out on the nose. Also marshmallow, raspberry, guava, floral, perfume, mixed berry and passion fruit. Wasn’t getting any of the mentioned graham cracker of hazelnut. From the can was a little better with maybe a touch of the hazelnut. (Smell - 4.00)
Banana still led the way on the taste, but more raspberry than the nose. Much better overall than the smell. Also vanilla, marshmallow, Circus Peanut candy, guava, floral, perfume, passion fruit, purple grape, mixed berry and both hazelnut and graham cracker, only because it was mentioned in the description. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Sticky texture. Average carbonation. Long, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.75)
Just really good for what it was. Really grew on me each sip. (Overall - 4.25)
