Are you gonna bark all day, Mr. French, or are you gonna bite? This pastry milk stout tastes just like caramel coconut clusters in beer form brewed with milk sugar, toasted coconut, cacao nibs, and caramel.

You can really taste the cacao nibs and the coconut, making this a smooth, sweet, and tasty beer. I don’t know if I could drink it all night, but one or two, yes please. 4 stars all the way!

From a 4-pack picked up at Worden's Market in Missoula, MT
16oz can poured into a Council Belgian-style tulip
P pours black w/ a small foamy khaki cap
N med-bold to bold inviting rich cocoa, coffee character, and coconut; really nice
T super cohesive blend of sweet cocoa and smooth coconut/vanilla/milk sugar, offset by hints of coffee and light roast; satisfying; a touch of bitterness in the tail end of the finish
Mf med to med-full bodied w/ soft-med to med carb; light to moderate creaminess; supports the profile well
O an excellent milk stout; sweet and satisfying- hits all the right notes, imo; would definitely have again

On tap at the northwest Portland location.
Beautiful poor. Deep, dark brown, with a khaki colored head that appears milky at first then it faces out showing its bubbles. Your head slowly settles into a thin film with a solid ring.
The nose has a very nutty take on the coconut. Toasty malts some hints of creamy milk, sugar.
Flavor is a pretty smooth ride cocoa with hints of caramel and again that gentle toasted coconut comes off as very toasted. Quite nice.
Melfield starts up pretty good almost goes a tad thin.
