Pours mostly clear, pale yellow in color. Nose is the normal zestlike smell. Taste was very vegetal for me. Like grass almost. Unfortunalty for that reason I am not a fan.

a very good kolsch, deserving of its high rankings, but for me, which is more a testament to how good suarez is overall rather than this being in any way inferior, this may actually be my least favorite i think of the four cans we opened in the same session, maybe its the walk dont run hoppy blonde, i dont know, all lighter styles, lagers and such, this is amazing from a quality standpoint, and it does have a lot of personality for being as subtle as it is, like its not just any old kolsch, or one to be easily confused with another, its non generic, but more for its overall quality than for the recipe to me, insofar as the two can be cleaved like that. clean, light as they go, the right amount of yeasty, refined but also kind of rustic to me in that way, which i love about it, kind of its defining element, seems nicely conditioned, very lager-like, and simple but fresh and lightly european on the grain side, hops hit with clean citrus and soft florals, and the proportions and drinkability are both amazing. hints of dried lemon zest, green grass, and wet stone, deeply earthy yet also exceedingly light to drink on. carbonation is maybe just a half step above average, which is to say maybe a little lower than where it could be for max refreshment on this, but its hard to nitpick anything here, and im not interested in that. a very good kolsch, lovely water chemistry as is always the case with these guys, a bright and distinctive hop complexion, and super easy drinking overall, thirst quenching and simple without being boring, somewhat agricultural too, downright great.

Canned on 4/19/22; consumed on 5/22/22
Pours a clear, deep lemon-gold body capped with three fingers of dense, fluffy, white foam; excellent head retention leaves nearly a finger of rocky cap, a thin, frothy collar, and a restrained array of webby lacing is painted along the walls of the glass.
Aromas of fresh bread dough feed into wafts of rising yeasts and toasted bread crusts, while an ingrained minerality steadies the flaky malt base against an encroaching, floral lemondrop, enlivening subtle impressions of lavender-lemon hard candy as shades of grain silo phase through the closing impressions.
Taste opens to soft, bready yeast with a fervent, underlying minerality; floral lemon over the mid-palate brings distant edges of pastoral grassiness as damp grain edges into the back end find rounded white bread lingering through the swallow.
Mouthfeel features a light body and fluffy, high carbonation, settling to a crispness and drying over the mid-palate; a soft prickle and wispy grit into the back end inspires further waves of taut textures guiding towards a paper-dry finish.
Reflective with a condensed focus and exploring the beauty in understatement, this Kölsch engages its comprehensively quenching roots for a quintessentially thoughtful and easygoing ale.

Canned on // 5.26.21

Thanks to hopley for hooking me up with this.
The beer poured a slightly hazy, pale golden yellow hue and was topped by a tight, frothy, finger-tall, bright white crown that quickly fell to a small collar. There was no lacing whatsoever.
Nice crisp, clean aroma. Snappy and bright. Lemon notes were apparent. Lots of cereal grain character too. Somewhat wheaty and tart. Crust bread was also noticeable.
The flavor profile mimicked the nose. Lots of bright lemon character. Quite tart. Somewhat wheaty too. Big cereal grain presence. Grassy hops appeared in the center and intensified as the beer moved along the palate. The finish contained bitter, peppery hop note that faded rather quickly.
The mouthfeel was definitely the most impressive aspect of the beer. It was a super light and fluffy on the palate. Pillowy soft and supple. The liquid contained an ultra-fine, prickly effervescence that was spot-on for the style.
Fine Line is perhaps my favorite of the Suarez lagers that I have tried to date. Unlike the others, the hops in this beer were rather understated.

Pours a nice golden yellow from the can, fizzy 1" head that settles to a ring quickly, some lacing. Nose is has lots of grass, straw, mildly bitter hop notes, as well as sweet, rounded doughy elements. Taste starts a bit sweet, but there is enough of a hop background to balance it, particularly as it warms. Lemon and pepper along with dough, biscuit, and cracker. Mouthfeel is full enough, but very crisp and refreshing. A really solid Kölsch.

Pours a clear straw color with visible carbonation. A large foam head retains well.
In the nose, bready malts are paired with grassy and earthy hops spices. Aromas of lemon, lime, white pepper, sourdough and a touch of caramel.
Clean bready and cracker malt flavors are balanced by a clean yet assertive bitterness. Notes of sourdough, biscuit, grassy and peppery spices, lemon and lime. There is a touch of resin in the finish.
Light bodied with a crisp mouthfeel. Very clean with a dry and crisp finish. The carbonation is moderate to lively.
Great Kölsch style beer, well balanced and crushable. Everything I’ve had from Suarez Family Brewery is nothing short of sublime!
