November 2022 - poured from a 500mL bottle into my Rodenbach flute.
Unfiltered cerise body with a low stand of misty rose. Very fine lacing; excellent retention.
Clean, mild nose, with hints of watermelon and wheat.
Delicate yet rich malt synergizes perfectly with the oak - cherry pits, apricot pits, and pear. Tart with a low red wine quality - mellow/aged yet somehow fresh and bright. Lightly phenolic yeats notes. Fruity, fairly dry finish.
Crisp, medium-light bodied, with no astringency.
Not quite to style (lighter, less acidic, less astringent/vinuous), but very enjoyable and unique.

This one pours a nice darkish cherry red, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This one smells like sweet juicy cherry, a bit of old lemony funk, some sweet malt, and a touch of sour cherry.
This is really well done- it has no off-flavors (cough syrup) from the cherry, and nothing vinegary or acetic from the base Flanders red. The cherry is a delightful flavor, with a nice sweetness, and slight sourness, a touch of lemon rind and lemon juicy funk on the very end. Otherwise, it finishes super cleanly. There's a touch of nice malt character, too.
This is light bodied, and super crisp and drinkable, with a soft level of carbonation.
This is really well done- it's clean, with no off-flavors, and a great expression of cherry.
