500 mL bottle. Smells of plum with an earthy yeast backdrop with hints of oak. Tastes of slightly tart plum with lots of oak. Plum and an earthy yeast presence. Simple, as always. Medium body with a moderate acidity. Can't say I love it. It's a little too acidic and not quite dynamic enough.

500ml bottle, 2022 Harvest Year, bottle dated 10.2022, poured into a stemless wine glass. Enjoyed on 02.18.2025, reviewed from Tasting Journal.

The beer pours a bright golden straw color, lemon hues, lightly cloudy with a fizzy and fluffy white head, good retention but no lacing. The aroma is excellent, tart plum, rich but bright stone fruits, lemon citrus, wildflower, light grain, white grape. The flavors are great, bright and delicate plum, juicy and tart, light citrus, wildflower, white grape, fruity and very buggy funk, lots of bacteria, slight grain and mineral water. The mouthfeel is good, coating, crisp, lively lighter medium body, tangy and tart with a dry finish.

Verdict: An excellent plum beer from Suarez. Super bright and expressive, complex, delicate, very delicious.

Bottled in 2021. so we are beyond four years. Good plum flavour, however overwhelming brett like funk in the flavour, in the smell. Some colour. Still very drinkable.

Bottled October, 2022 - enjoyed on January 11, 2025 - poured from a 500mL bottle into my Drie de Fonteinen tumbler.

Clear jasmine liquid supports two fingers of ivory foam. Dense soapy lacing; superior retention.

Distinctive varietal presence of plum in the nose - floral with hints of umeboshi along with an undercurrent of mild funk and yeast.

Tart/floral/fruity palate entry - largely following, concentrating, and intensifying the nose. Bright but mild acidity with hints of strawberry, chevre, and hay. Medium-dry, lightly dough-y finish. Delicate and wonderfully balanced. Fruit persists but never overwhelms the base beer.

Medium-bodied, well carbonated, soft yet refreshing.

Superior example of the style with its own signature.

Cellared almost 2 years. Cloudy yellow body, finger of eggshell white head, spotted lacing. Smells of plum, flowers, grape must, wild yeast, and slight brett in that order of intensity. Taste hits with sour plum and slightly acidic lemon, faint oak, mild yeast, smell is much better frankly. Lighter body but yeast is complex though gentle, not a lot of artful expression here, dull. They make great pilsners though!

This one pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and a bit of lacing.

This one smells like plum, peach, citrus, white wine, and oak.

I used to think Summer Whoa was the best fruited country series that Suarez does, but Parlance, especially aged a little bit, gives Summer Whoa series run for its money. There's a pleasant citrusy lemon candy aspect to the plum flavor that just works so well with the pale wine-like funk of the base beer.

This is light bodied, crisp, clean, and just super refreshing overall.

I really liked both Shiro and Early Gold with a bit of age on them, everything seemed to round out perfectly.

Poured from a bottle (Dec19) into a Belgian glass

L: hazy darkish yellow, rich white head with thick white lacing

S: Mild farmhouse aroma, led by a nice lemon/citrus note. Nothing immediately standout or wow about it, just a nice clean nose

T: nice tart lemon flavor, very clean and refreshing. Haven't had shiro plums before, apparently known for lemon flavor - definitely getting that here. A more restrained fruited farmhouse, expecting a bit more of that flavor but overall great

F: medium carbonation, great mouthfeel. Crisp, refreshing, very easy drinking

O: a great beer, shiro plums imparting a nice lemon flavor. Came in expecting a bit more fruit flavor, in the end feel like it was a (very) well executed farmhouse with some of that lemon I get in standard Suarez farmhouse ales (vs. from the fruit specifically)
