Our take on a classic English-inspired bitter. 'Amenable' is brewed using English malt, lightly cooked invert sugar, Challenger / Goldings hops, and fermented with a classic UK derived yeast

For the canned version of this beer we dose each can with nitrogen to approximate the creamy foam of a traditional Northern UK cask pour

Please serve at cellar temperature if possible and follow the pouring 'instructions' on the front of the can for an optimal drinking experience

Purchased cold at the brewery 9-days ago and kept cold until served. As instructed by label text- shaken gently 3-times, poured aggressively. Can is a 16-ouncer stamped CANNED 2/11/26, DRINK BY 6/11/26.
A large just-off-white head forms and there is a brief nitro rise/fall on the side of the glass. But the head fades to a ring rather quickly. The body is a clear deep amber, SRM 10 or 11. Lacing is minimal.
Smells of malt, biscuit, bread, brown leaves.
The taste is nicely bitter and malty with some background caramel notes.
The mouthfeel is medium to light. However, carbonation is poor to flat. For a “nitro” labeled beer it drinks more like a cask ale. I have drank three of the 4-pak and they are all the same. Maybe an off batch?
Bit of a disappointment really. No flaws in the taste though.

Pours with a big 2" thick head with excellent retention; relatively clear orange-caramel color; good spotty lacing. Nose is melba toast, very herbal hops, stainless steel. Taste biscuity with gentle hop bitterness, touch of caramel, but relatively dry with a lingering finish. Feel is quite soft and full, very small carbonation from the nitro can. Overall, I was hoping for some more body from the nitro, but this drinks exceedingly well and something I would gladly buy in bulk if given the opportunity.

Poured straight down the glass, as directed, producing a cascading body and foamy tight white head.

This one smells floral, herbal, and slightly caramelly.

I think the canned nitro old ale they did is a little bit better, but this was still a real treat. It’s got a really nice floral, weedy, and spicy hop hop character, with a very light bready, slightly caramelly malt sweetness.

This is lighter bodied, maybe slightly watery, but extremely drinkable, with the nitro propping up the thin body a bit.

I love Suarez’s recent use of canned nitro to present old fashioned British styles – I hope they keep doing it!

16 oz nitro can. shake three times, pour hard it says. drank at cellar temp

pours clear yellow golden with thick dense layer of head. excellent head retention. aroma of crackery malt and woody and floral hops. taste is similar but a little more intense than then aroma. Fairly bitter and drier finish. thinner bodied and most of the nitro seemed knocked out by the pour so while there is a thick head, the body of the beer seems very low in carbonation.
