Brewed with Waukesha honey and orange peel. A light sweetness and dry finish, combined with mild spiciness, this farmhouse ale is ideal as the weather warms and the season blossoms.

I just bought a 4-pack from Woodman's in Kenosha. This is a balanced table saison. Went nicely with appetizers and my meal of basil pesto on pasta. Spring City's Saison Looks like what happens when U.S. crafters dip their paddles into the Belgian tradition (it lacks an active yeast.) So, its Looks are flaccid and lacks protein swirls. But, much better are the Smells: full-on fruit orchards ready for harvest; with bee hives buzzing nearby. Tastes are balanced, possibly on the sweet side... but many meals need that. Medium-mouthed and cleansing; making me ready to take another bite. This Saison does its job... it just needs a more active yeast.
7/9/23 Had a second can and revised the above review and rating. This is my second from RGBC, the first 3 years ago when RGBC was 4 years old. Now that they are 7, I was expecting a little more growth and sophistication in their website. But they are still doing good things to help Wisconsin's third biggest city find its way; so I give them pretty good Overall Hugs for that.

I love this beer. As a matter of fact I didn't even know I liked the Saison style until I tasted this beer. With the beer world gaga over IPAs this is a beautiful alternative. Slightly sweet, smooth and fresh but not wimpy in feel or ABV.
