A - Pours pitch black with a thin finger tan head. Heavy amount of soapy lacing.
S - Aroma is cinnamon, banana and maple.
T - The taste is banana, cinnamon, dark chocolate, vanilla, maple syrup and a nice roasty finish.
M - Medium body with medium carbonation. Creamy mouthfeel with a soft drying finish.
O - Really like this. Banana definetly at the forefront, but never overpowers the other flavors.

As far as Hubbards Cave Stouts go, this is not the top of the list. But as far as stouts in general this is better than solid. Above average. The banana is incredibly subdued. The malt is so roasty I get coffee. Cinnamon is there as well as the maple. Good stuff. I think the choice to make the banana not overblown was a good one. Its subtle. Doesn't remind me of Bananas Foster, but tasty in its own right.

Black with brown edging and cap. Smell is the best aspect of this one by far! Huge maple, banana, and cinnamon, lead the brown sugar, vanilla, chocolate, a shot of booze and malt. The wife said this during our group's tasting of it and now I can't get it out of my head: it tastes like banana added to their french toast. It's good but the cumulative sweetness eventually overpowers. Feel is surprisingly light bodied but plenty viscous, sticky, yet adds sweetness to the mouth the more you have. Dessert beer, split the can

Appearance - The beer poured midnight black with a tan head crowning the pour.
Smell - Banana really jumped out in the nose. It seemed almost candy-like with sweetness.
Taste - Banana dominated the profile, leaning sweet overall. Notes of brown sugar and cinnamon followed. Roasted coffee-like notes laid the backbone. The banana notes lingered in the finish.
Mouthfeel - The feel was the thick, smooth body I have come to expect from Hubbard’s Cave.
Overall - It was not my favorite stout from the brewery, but it’s still solid.

Bananas Foster is HC at their best. This one is cinnamon French toast with caramelized bananas on top. There is a ton of cinnamon and the stout is rich and syrupy. It is truly a divine dessert beer and must try.

Pours slightly thin with tan head.
Smells of overly ripe bananas with cloying sweetness.
Tastes like boozy banana runts candies.
Slick mouth feel, leaving a mild coating of the tongue.
Overall, solid pastry stout that gets boozier as it warms. Would buy again. Would not drink more than one in a sitting.
