Pours a thick dark brown with about a finger of dark brown head. Bubbles rise to the top slowly.
Nose is definitely packed with blueberry. Some malt, some chocolate, but not much.
Taste is pure blueberry syrup initially. Sweet and almost medicinal. It's a bit off putting. As it warms though it allows for more room to let the chocolate join in. But the whole way through blueberry runs the show. Drink slowly because this is a sweet one. Alcohol is really well hidden though.
Mouthfeel is full bodied, silky smooth, with mild carbonation. If you've had one Hubbard's Cave brew, you've pretty much had em all in terms of the mouthfeel department. A tad more sticky and cloying than others in the past.
Overall this is a solid beer but just needs to be refined a bit. Rein in the blueberry, let the chocolate come through, and maybe it would seem more like a muffin. Rather than just feeling like I'm sitting here drink carbonated blueberry syrup. A bit of whiff to be honest.

A: The beer is jet black in color. It poured with a finger high dark tan head that died down, leaving a short head covering the surface and a collar around the edge of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of blueberries are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has lots of flavors of sweet blueberries along with notes of milk chocolate.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied on the palate and is a bit smooth with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This stout is packed with lots of aromas and flavors of blueberries. I couldn't believe how well it hid the alcohol from the taste.

1 PINT can
Served in a snifter
This beer pours black and is topped with barely an inch of mocha head that leaves little lacing.
I could smell blueberry muffin as soon as I opened the can. It has a very sweet aroma. There is also milk chocolate.
The taste is super sweet. It tastes like blueberry syrup with chocolate. There is some roasted malt in the finish, but it does little to combat the sweetness of this beer. It steadily improves as it warms
Full bodied with smooth mouthfeel
This is a sipper due to the sweetness. It does become more chocolaty as it warms which helps break up the super sweet blueberry syrup taste. A couple sips of this is great. A full pint becomes a chore as the sweetness overwhelms the senses. I would drink a sample of it again but not a full pour.

Viscous lighter black with a brown head. Tons of blueberry puree aroma, with supporting milk chocolate, booze, and slight vanilla cream, but again mostly blueberry puree. Taste is much the same, with the blueberry being borderline harsh, lots of booze leakage too. Feel is harsh, sweet, boozy, and thinner. Not a do over, the wife agrees

16oz can served in a little glass White Castle coffee mug. 2019-1.
Pours thick and black, small head. Smell is powerful blueberry, maybe chocolate.
Taste is sweet and blueberry. Chocolate.
Mouthfeel is thick and a little fine grit. Overall, good.

From the first moments the aroma is allowed to escape from the tiny opening atop the can, you know that you’re about to get a blueberry pie smashed in your face, whether you like it or not. The scent filled the vicinity, even neighbors at the bar were asking what smelled so strongly of blueberries.
The pour was a light black with a very slight purple hue.
And this beer tastes like it smells, thank heavens! Awesome blueberry presence from the tip of my tongue, all the way to the back and down my throat.
This really put to shame almost any other blueberry stout I’ve ever tried.
