Clear orange-amber brew with long-lasting foam in the goblet. Pleasant aroma of cereal and greenery. Spritzy on the tongue and mouthfilling. Very slightly sweet, then warm and malty with a tangy finish. The hops are spicy and sharp but they go well with the malt. This seems more like a Festbier than a Märzen but maybe the hops take the edge off the sweetness. Overall this is a better than average example in a good year for Oktoberfest brews. From the 16 oz can purchased at the Co-op market. Dated 09/08/25.

Small amount of lacy white head. Medium orange and amber look. Slightly sweet, spiced toffee & medium toasted malt aroma. Mixed herbs, with a mineral like character, on a bed of lightly caramelized malt, for the taste.

16oz can served in a nonic pint. I think it's dated 09/08/25. Bought it at Beer Junction earlier today.
Pours clear brassy amber with a big, two finger head and not a lot of active carbonation. Smell is grainy, grassy, nutty, maybe a bit of toffee, maybe a bit of fresh floral.
Taste reveals a bit more green floral stuff, but still pretty dominated by malty, toffee, nutty goodness. This is not a complaint, it makes for a very tasty beer. Hops seem to come across somewhere between lime and melon rind.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, maybe a bit on the heavy side, smooth and pleasant. Soft. Overall, good and interesting, not screaming fresh hop and probably not worth the additional effort of making it fresh hop, but would definitely try their oktoberfest.

Pours an amber colored with a creamy white small head that lasts for a while. It has a nice roasted malt aroma with a hint of hops and sweetness. The taste is roasted malts and sweetness. Very good. This is the 2024 version of the beer brewed with Abiqua fresh hops, a variety I haven't heard of. 17 IBUs Rated 9-26-2024

Canned on 9/1. Seasonal Fresh American Hops, slightly hazy amber. Mild carbonation. Very pleasant floral aromas. Taste is medium dry, with a very pleasant hop profile over a tasty German malt base. Very drinkable at 5.5% ABV. A 2020 Gold Medal at the Oregon Beer Awards. Delicious.

Look: Fairly clear deep orange to amber in color with a dense, off-white head that has good retention and is leaving good lacing
Aroma: Floral hops, light citrus notes (mainly lemon), warm bread, a little grassiness, and some toffee
Taste: Bready malts in tandem with a huge floral bouquet hit hard out of the gate, followed by citrusy notes along with some grass and nice toffee and melanoidin flavors. Finishes very clean and crisp
Mouthfeel: Full bodied, medium carbonation, very clean throughout, and quite crisp on the finish as well
Overall: This is a winner. I really enjoyed this last year and was pumped to hear they were making it again, plus it won an award which I didn’t realize but understand completely. A great showcase of fresh Hallertauer in an already delicious and well-made Oktoberfest lager. A fun change-of-pace fresh hop beer and in my opinion, an outstanding beer on its own as well. Recommended

Can, 2020 release.
A mildly hazy amber with a dense, off-white head with excellent retention and lacing, this looks great. The nose is soft and bready with a definite fresh hop accent to the lemon and minty earth hops. The fresh hops amplify these notes without making the beer hoppier in a way that's quite unique. Soft bread and mild caramel are present. The palate opens with a mild bitterness, earthy and mildly minty, with a light fresh hop character. There's a soft rounded Character to the palate, a blend of bread, caramel, a little toffee and a restrained sweetness. Compared to the Bobtoberfest that I'm pairing this off against, it holds its own - less bitter, a little sweeter, but still well executed. There's a chewy feel to the palate, a little fuller than ideal. Carbonation is soft and creamy, amplifying the softness of the palate. The bready sweetness is also a little simpler than the Bobtoberfest. Drying, lingering sweetness on the finish, this is quite excellent.

This is the real deal.
Pumpkin orange with a tad more clarity than straight up gourd juice. Nice white foam leaves some spotty lacing.
Bready grain, a dash of honey and caramel, and some dried grass. What else could you ask for?
All the above mentioned, just amplified in the flavor while still maintaining delicacy.
Light and crisp thanks to a lively carbonation. Perfect balance, but does lack what could be a welcomed richness.
A superb American version of the annual classic style. A more sessionable version which is turning out to be a great Concept on this uneventful weekend day.
Prost!
