Misc.: Unable to read canned on date; Appeared to be #34, which was Citra, Azacca and Idaho 7
Thanks, Bill!
Got this one from Bill on a recent work trip. Apparently Southern Grist is killing it in Nashville, even better than Bearded Iris. This beer was a variant for hops, this one appeared to be 34 since I could see Azacca on the bottom of the can. Looking it up, Citra and Idaho 7 were also involved. Was looking forward to it.
Poured a golden hazy color with 3-to-4 fingers of rocky white head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the sides of the glass at different speeds. Excellent spiderweb foamy lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.75)
Smelled Citra and Azacca with a little bit of Idaho 7. Also stone fruit, lime, dank pine, mango, pineapple, herbal and black pepper. Even more hops from the can in Citra, Azacca and Idaho 7, along with stone fruit and dank pine. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted Azacca and Idaho 7 up front, then Citra. Also dank pine, stone fruit, lime, pineapple, mango, herbal, pine and black pepper. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy, slightly spicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
An excellent hazy IPA. Really enjoyed this. (Overall - 4.25)

Can dated 2/07/19 poured into a tulip! OJ look with a white capped head, smells was ripe citrus and dank with some tropical fruit mixed in! Taste was dank up front moving to mixed fruit and ending with light pine! Feel was on the lighter side for a 6.2 but still good. Overall delicious and I would totally get this variant again!
