Very pretty. Pours a hazy burnished gold. Fluffy white head rises quickly, then retreats to a thin ring with no lacing.
Smell is definitely a tropical cocktail melange with a vanilla whisper. Most definitely picking up pineapple and an undercurrent of coconut. Vanilla seems to carry the lactose notes to the nose.
Flavor is dominated by the pineapple and coconut cocktail. Sour is light and smooth and play along exactly like a cocktail loaded with pineapple. There's a creamy richness from the lactose that tames the sour. I'm half way done now, and now I'm finally picking up a hint of bananas, and yes an ever so light chocolate note. Like frozen chocolate covered bananas. But this is the last nuance that shows up to the fiesta.
Mouthfeel is kinda creamy, augmenting the overall flavor delivery.
Overall, I score this higher due to SG nailing so many aspects of this unique beer. Would I drink it regularly? No. But a very tasty and unique beer.

On tap at the brewery. This one is a sour with lactose, pineapple, banana, cocoa, and cacao. Look was a hazy bright yellow color with a modest white head. Great aroma and taste . Think chocolate covered bananas dipped in a pina colada. Rich and creamy. Every flavor pops and works well with the others. Outstanding.
