Extremely heavy on the grape musk, damp grass, berry medley, cracked wheat, and citrus juice on the nose, with the grapes and berries providing a rather sharp, funky sting for the nostrils. But the combination is a solid winner on the tongue, with the white wine, green grape, raspberry, and pineapple fruit meshing well with the strong lemongrass, hemp, and cracker notes. Unique and tangy, with a really lovely level of sweetness. Pretty but fairly standard on the eye. A bit thin but very soft and smooth on the tongue.

Canned 7/31/19; drank 9/6/19 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy dull orange/yellow appearance.
A violent pour yielded a huge, noisy eggshell head; strong, frothy lace.
Orange citrus, cream & table sugar notes in the nose.
Creamy, medium mouthfeel.
Orange citrus & cream flavors up front; table sugar & mild ganja notes on the finish. No booze heat.
Decent, but not the height of the NE IPA style; glad to try it once but I won't seek it out again.

Thanks to Buck89 for this one.
Pours a dusty gold hue. Fluffy cloud of white foam ascends firmly. Solid retention. Clumps of lacing hang on firmly.
Smell is intriguing, but specifics are obscured in a melange of grass, papaya, mango, and a faint peppery note. Yet, it pulls me in.
Taste is not Nelson dominant, which for me is a good thing. I'm picking up some underripe blackberries, some honeydew, and a left turn through some dank toward a juicy mango and some dry white wine. Quite complex. I am curious about this new hop.
Mouthfeel is active, a bit fluffy, and carries a nice smooth bitter finish.
Overall, I like the play of this new hop with Nelson.

Poured into a pint glass. A hazy bright yellow color with a thick and resilient white head. Fruity aroma with strawberry, papaya, and a subtle dank note at the end. The taste was hard to characterize - a thick and velvety berry flavor balanced with a dank earthy resin. The classic Nelson white wine flavor was not there as the hop blended with the Barbe Rouge hop to create a unique fruity experience. Bitterness was moderate and lingered on the finish. A nice soft feel. ABV well hidden. Overall, outstanding.
