Light and refreshing, with an oddly nostalgic taste somewhere between a strawberry-banana yogurt and those strawberry-wrapper hard candies your grandma probably had.

Sour, juicy, just barely a light touch of sweet, no bitterness. Super easy to enjoy.

 

 

Opaque pukey reddish-tan with a fuzzy tan-pink head settling to a thin film and ring.

Ahhh, I love a good strawberry-banana character and this aroma perfectly brings that creamy, lightly fruity sweet punch, like a smoothie with a little vanilla yogurt.

Taste is sharply tart lemon spiked strawberry-banana through and through, with a medium body and a tingly effervescence that finishes semi-dry.

I could drink a boatload of this.

L - dafuq is a "brunch style sour IPA". *pours into glass* Oh, I see now. Looks like pink grapefruit mimosa. Such color depth.

S - primed with sour candy up front and then a wave of strawberry banana. Talk about nailing it. Smells like a childhood juice box. Damn.

T - flavor directly follows the nose. Kiwi strawbs banana smoothie. Some lactose sweetness and tart strawberry warheads pucker. Chalky bitterness lingers.

F - tight, light, and refreshing, while maintaining a solid body that holds the flavors together.

O - Hudson Valley continues to build on that childhood nostalgia. Tasteful adult candy. Wish this had a little more tartness or sweetness though, but all-around a very enjoyable beer.
