Serving: 500 ml bottle poured into a wine glass; enjoyed during lunch at The NoMad Hotel.

Appearance: Slightly hazy straw yellow with a billowing head of white foam and streaky lace.

Smell: Bright, vinous aromas along with notes of spicy yeast, herbal hops and hints of oak.

Taste: Full and complex, with plenty of bright fruit flavors, tart apples and citrus. Hops and yeast layer earthy, herbal and spicy notes, with hints of oak barrel before the close.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with crisp, lively carbonation.

Overall: Very enjoyable, at once refreshing and complex. Pairs well the the NoMad’s terrific chicken burger.

Appearance: Pours a hazy goldenstraw capped by a creamy, one finger head; good retention and a few shards of lace

Smell: The buckwheat really comes through in the aroma, creating a buckwheat pancake element that underpins; a floral, citrusy tone wafts along with apple and oak aspects

Taste: From start to finish, the floral citrus and tart apple dominate; in the middle, complexity is provided by the buckwheat and the oak; a vinous aspect arrives, after the swallow

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: This is a truly awesome beer; incredible complexity and a unique flavor profile

Thanks, devoured by vermin, for the opportunity
