From the brown bottle with a lot listing date of 21.12.2018. Sampled on April 16, 2019. They recommend serving at about 37-41 degrees and mine is in that range.
Clear golden-yellow appearance with bubbly carbonation streaming up to the modest and slowly fading white head. Some unfiltered haze.
The aroma is at first grainy, grassy, and lemon-like with any smoked character in the background.
Light bodied beer.
The smoke shows up more in the taste but it is otherwise sweet and grainy but it ends clean and crisp.

500ml bottle, best by 16/04/2026. At Swiat Piwa in Krakow.
Clear, very light yellow, maybe a greenish tint. Big head. Smell is cut grass and woodsmoke. Light honey and flowers. Taste is even lighter. Airy. Lemon and smoke, bread yeast. Mouthfeel is light and thin, almost weak. Overall, good and enjoyable.

13.5oz bottle into a pint glass. 12/21/18 batch, so almost 5 years old.
Decent looking beer. Pale yellow body with strong carbonation. Bright fluffy white head, layers of lacing. Aroma is smoky, faintly spiced, a little meaty. On tasting, all those aromas are muted, and a rather unpleasant mineral water taste. This carries over into the finish, with a sour note at the end. Not a beer I'd want to try again.

The color is light yellow, straw, cloudy. White foam, creamy consistency, stays on the surface for a long time.
Aroma: slightly smoked, there is a floral note.
In taste, also clear smoked meat, light acidity. There is also a slight metallicity. Moderate, hoppy bitterness.
High saturation. Highly drinkable, refreshing, light, easy.

A - Medium tan color that's very hazy with soapy off white lacing.
S - Smoke and almost bacon-like.
T - Follows the nose exactly, smoke and bacon and then add charcoal and ash.
M - Pillowy soft from the wheat malt base.
O - Liquid smoked bacon. Is that a bad thing? Everything goes great with bacon. ;o)

From the bottle, it pours a lightly hazy yellow golden color with a large white head that lasts and leaves lacing as you enjoy the beer. Definite scent of smoke in the nose. In the mouth, it is smoky and a bit of light malt. Nice!

Poured from 400mL bottle into a dimpled mug. Bottled on 12/21/2018.
Appearance: crystal-clear straw-colored body with a thin layer of frothy white foam atop. It's not bad, although it does have a bit of a macro-lager look to it.
Smell: nicely smoky with a light, sweet malt character underneath. It's not quite as heavy as a rauchbier; I quite like it.
Taste: lightly wheaty and just a little bit sweet, with a rich, earthy smokiness. This beer really appeals to me.
Mouthfeel: light body but with a big carbonation and a pretty solid creaminess, considering how light it is.
Overall: I love a good smoked beer, and this one does it well. I'm not much of a connoisseur of grodziskies, but I would definitely put a few of these away.

Very cool to find a Polish Grodziske in the US, i’m interested to see how this compares to a pair of local brewers that do the style justice.
Bottle dated 12.21.2018
The bottle foamed but I caught it in time, probably best to open over a sink. Hazy pale straw gold, thin layer of soapy foam, small collar and spotty lacing.
Aromas of coarse wheat, grainy cereal, slightly horsey, vague lemon.
Tart lemony lactobacillus, very very mild smoke, on par with Schlenkerla Helles, only a wisp. Aftertaste of basic wheat. Coarse carbonation and light bodied, thirst quenching. Kind of simple, no expectations but hoping for a bit more here based on reviews.
Awesome bottle and label, but the beer itself is fairly simple. Local versions from Dovetail and Off Color do the style justice, and are more flavorful and unique. Worth a try if you see it though.

Pours a bright straw color. Completely clear and effervescent. Thick frothy white head dissipates steadily but stops with about a half inch of foam remaining on the beer. From there head retention is excellent.
Aroma has notes of smokey malts. Light notes of wheat come through with some light herbal hoppy notes.
Taste is super interesting - it is both incredibly light and drinkable yet complex at the same time. There are light malty notes - white bread and wheat - initially quickly overtaken with a strong smoky malt flavor. Light herbal hops come through on the back end. Ever so slight bitterness on the finish with a lingering smokiness.
Feel is light and drinkable. Vivascious carbonation. Semi-dry finish.
Overall this is first and foremost to my mind the perfect example of the post-revival grodziskie - hits every hallmark of the style, which should be expected since this is one of the examples that have since revived the style. How closely it relates to the original pre-war examples, who knows for sure. Second, this is just a really good beer - its so incredibly unique - complex yet somehow refreshing. A true experience for any beer connoisseur.

Clear copper with a small white head. Good retention and spots of lacing.
Smells slightly sour, slightly smoky, rotten apples, honey, pear, biscuit, salinity, white pepper.
The taste follows the nose. A hint of mild smoke, slightly sour, honey, toasted biscuit, pear, sweet red apple. Tastes somewhat salty despite not being a Gose.
Light, but not watery. Good carbonation and mouthfeel for 4%.
A super unique but tasty beer!

Poured from the bottle into a pokal style glass.
Frothy and rich forming bleach white full head, easily three fingers maybe more in height, with fine bubbles. Eggy whip cream like top slightly, and a pale straw body color mixing with a touch of hued chestnut brown. Real beautiful looking light beer.
Aroma is just real enjoyable. Smoked wood notes, and a real cigar box like quality coming off the nose. Touches mildly hop herbal as well with a light sense of wheat and pils chewy character.
Real expressive palate. Light but earthy smoke tones, with a touch of herbal green almost minty like flavor. Crispy body with an excellent crackery finish, and almost champagne like brittle feeling. Aftertaste has wonderful woody oven baked bread qualities as well. A little touch of muted novocaine, but very small and not distracting. Lots of mineral rocky like textures and flavors also.
Great beer that really packs a lot of punch and flavor in such a low abv content. More please!
