Poured into a tulip, the appearance looked someone squeezed a peach and an orange into a glass, pure haze balancing between the two fruits capping with a finger’s worth of white foamy head. Light lingering lace ran here and there. The aroma started with the sweet peachy notes and then takes in some orange rind to bump in some bitterness. Light white pepper slides in underneath. The flavor starts with that peachy sweetness. Orange comes back again - bitter rind like. Spice underneath. Nice smooth sweet to a gentle allowance of bitterness in the aftertaste. No finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Nice balance between carbonation to the bitterness components of the orange rind and spice to hit my tongue appropriately. Overall, this one was a nice creative saison by an up and coming brewer.
