a little stronger and a little sweeter and a little more predictable than the other foam saison they have going, but also a really nice brew and one that gives me a new appreciation of a classic french yeast strain in this context. the beer has more of a substantial grain base, and its not anywhere near as dry, but this yeast seems to prefer that, notes of white wine and peach on the nose, more of a green apple and raisin thing in the flavor, heavy wheat, white sugar, slight herbal peppery spice, nice balance. fuller bodied but not quite as fluffy as the other one, just a little heavier. still excellent carbonation and a lot of character throughout. summer flavors with a four season versatility, i like that. this would be an awesome base beer from some experimentation too, white wine barrels, brett pitches, even cider blends, its well suited to host a number of interesting flavors, and im sure they will get around to using it in this capacity. i prefer the foam saison for now, but this one is well worth trying too.

Served on tap at Foam.
Pours a medium mellow and hazy golden straw. Two fingers of head.
Aromas are hoppy. Some light sticky fruit is there.
Flavor is one of the most unique profiles I've ever tried. It honestly struck me of pink bubblgum but not cloyingly sweet.
It's honestly delicious and its the best descriptor I can think of.
Mouthfeel is spot on.
Great f'ing beer.
