From growler

Pours a cloudy orange gold topped briefly by a finger of foam. Spotty lace remains as head kicks back to a nice skim.

Light aroma featuring neutral sweet, orange zest, very light crackery grain, and merest ghosts of pith and floral.

Taste a faithful rendition with a bit of tart yeast added, and herbal bitter to dry the end of sip. Balanced, bright, big, and bold. Delicious.

Viscous, medium bodied, light carb., with a killer finish. Refreshing beer that demands another sip.

Perhaps a step back in flavor from Pavement and Built To Spill, but an amazing beer it is a pleasure to savor.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger sustaining white foaminess. Lingering messy lace. The aroma had some soft citrus juicy notes blending well with a delicate sweet pine. Bitterness from some orange peel balances in nicely. The flavor leans to the sweet juicy side. Subtle pine dosed by an underscore of sly grassiness hits the taste nicely. Sly juicy aftertaste with the same sort of finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Low carbonation. Juicy smoothness. Overall, another well done AIPA by Foam, it’s their specialty style, what can I say.

Solid IPA. Mangos, great amount of bitter and carbonation. Just a bit hazy. Tropical fruit smell. Like this one a lot. Will go back to foam next time in VT

On tap at Foam. Hazy orange with a medium white head. Smells of orange and resiny pine hops. Lightly doughy malts. Tastes of a deep orange hop flavor. Some moderate sweetness. Resiny in the back end with low bitterness. Balanced hops and malts. Medium body. Very tasty.

from notes. growler into IPA glass. 5 days old. bright orange in color with a slight haze. foam is there and great lacing around the glass. orange and grapefruit zest on the nose and taste. A little lemon too, just tons of citrus, it's bright. not very bitter but still tastes very balanced, this is a great IPA. soft medium carbonation. can tell that it would be better at the tap room or if i was able to open the growler sooner. would definitely get this beer again and would love to visit the brewery again.

The beer comes in a deep gold, good amount of clarity.

The aroma hits of big dank, tons of deep pine, candied grapefruit, a bit of candy sweetness.

The flavor hits of medium sweetness, grapefruit, and just flows with tons of pine and green flavor throughout onto a medium bitterness on the finish. As I drink it more, I suspect the growler fill was hit with oxidation, lingering papery on the back and definitely not a citrus bomb as advertised and compared to by other people.

On tap at Foam Brewers in Burlington, VT.

This one pours a very hazy creamsicle orange looking color, with a small foamy head, and lots of lacing.

Smells like mango, lemon, grapefruit, and just a hint of pine.

This is absolutely awesome- the aroma and the taste just absolutely leaps out of the glass here, tons of mango, lemon, and some grapefruit, maybe a bit of tangerine, with no malt character- just juicy juicy juicy.

This is has a crisp and quite full and juicy mouthfeel- they nailed exactly how a beer like this should feel.

Foam is low key putting out stuff in VT that rivals the best the state has to offer. You gotta try their stuff.

These guys are killing it. Fantastic refreshing IPA. Can't believe this is 7.2%. Bright and refreshing. Somewhat hazy. Definitely translucent but not as hazy as some of the best NE IPA's out there. However, incredible citrus aroma and flavor. Lemon, orange, and grapefruit juice. Very soft.

Poured on tap at the brewery.

Pours a hazy golden orange color with a 2-finger white head. Leaves a ridiculous amount of lacing as the head dissipates.

The aroma. Oh man. Lots and lots of orange and grapefruit, followed by some fresh mangoes. Finishes faintly piney. Lovely aroma.

The taste is a citrus bomb. So much grapefruit and orange peel it's ridiculous. There's also a fair amount of ripe melon and mangoes. The hops are balanced out by a subtly sweet caramel malt. This is definitely a hop bomb, but it's also extremely well balanced.

The feel is medium-light bodied with moderate carbonation. Incredibly creamy and smooth. Soft as a pillow, yet plenty of hops bite to remind you you're drinking an IPA.

Overall, I am blown away by this beer. It's hoppy as hell, juicy as hell, yet impressively balanced. Amazing brew.
