Let me preface by saying I’m not a fan
Of NE IPA in 2018. Unbalanced, burns the back of my throat. Juicey flavors are not met with a formidable malt base to support. Hoping this style hits the road in favor of more bitter and piney brews. Totally subjective and I love foam in other ways.

Wow... this is the first time I’ve tasted Julius in Vermont. It’s literally a Julius clone and I couldn’t tell the difference

Nice and juicy with a bit of darkness to it (maybe that's why it's Rated R?).

Was lucky to try this when I visited Burlington. One of the best NE IPAs I've had - reminded a lot of Tree House Julius (super well balanced and soft) except a little boozier which gave a nice backbone for the tropical fruits. Really nice stuff. If you can ever try it, you absolutely should.

Friend shared a growler of this and I had my second Foam beer for the afternoon. NICE. Heard some nice things about the brewery and was totally not disappointed. Wonderful brew. Shared with fthree friends and none of had had their beers. All were impressed.

Reviewed from notes.
This was poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking mostly hazy sort of apricot orange color with a finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Not much lace, just seemed to slide for the most part.
The aroma had a nice blend of mango to tangerine sweet flesh. Just a whiff of the mango skin coming across in a slight tart sort of way. Light bookends of grassy hop notes balance pretty nice. Nice clean cracker malt.
The flavor was a superb blend of the prior notes and wanting to add in a touch of pineapple, but not too much. Low cracker to mango sort of aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a pretty good sipping quality about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt as projected by the brewer. Nice semi-sweet mobile soothing sort of finish.
Overall, another really nice DIPA by Foam, well worthy of having again.
