Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a bright yellow milky/hazy sort of color with a sustaining finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a mild pace. Some light lace ran here and there.
The aroma had a nice presence of honey, white pepper, floral hops, smooth sweet grass and a mild backbone of sweet wood.
The flavor was mildly sweet with a nice little bite of that white pepper flowing into the backbone to balance. Aftertaste was moderately sweet with an ever so slight touch of spice from the white pepper.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate. Finish was really nice with the floral hops and white pepper, then a touch of Belgian yeast.
Overall, very nice saison well worthy of having again.
