Pours hazy gold with a now-you-see-it-now-you-don't bubbly white head. The nose is decidedly citrus. For flavor, this is a classic gose--grapefruit and dragonfruit counter balance each other nicely with salt staying muted in the background. It all works--great summer beer.

 

 

Draft pour at Lures Bar & Grille. This is a straightforward fruited gose - juicy/fruity as advertised, with a hint of salinity. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Solid.

Dragonfruit and grapefruit is an interesting blend of fruits for any beer style, but Gose? This could be really bad or really good given the tartness and salinity of the base. I’m quite intrigued, so let’s crack it open and find out

Pours a cloudy pale orange with 2 fingers of off white head that very quickly fades to nothing and leaves no lacing

It’s super tropical and tart in the nose but not overpowering. I’m picking up on aromas of red grapefruit, lemon zest, sea salt, wheat bread, dragonfruit, light coriander, and orange juice

It’s softer than I expected in taste, but I still quite enjoy it. On the front end of the sip I’m tasting dragonfruit, sea salt, lime juice, grapefruit zest, wheat bread, orange juice, and light coriander. The swallow brings notes of lemon zest, red grapefruit, dragonfruit, coriander, wheat bread, and light lemon zest

A medium body pairs with gentle carbonation, resulting in a creamy yet refreshing beer. Finishes a tad sticky but dries out over time

I would’ve preferred a bit more of a tart bite in taste, but this is still nice
