A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy yellow in color and has some hints of whitish hues. It poured with a short white head that quickly died down, leaving just a narrow collar around the edge.
S: Moderate aromas of pineapple are present in the nose along with notes of honeydew melon.
T: The taste has lots of flavors of pineapple along with hints of peach. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels light- to medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a low to moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I enjoyed the aromas and flavors of pineapples in this beer - in some aspects it seemed like I was having fruit juice.

This will always be the “the one that got away”. Had it on tap at Foam in Burlington in summer 2021 and loved it, Salty and hazy, very different from the pilsners I typically frequent. Had a chance to get 6 pack at the beer store next door, but decided to wait, and unfortunately it was gone the next day. They said people buy anything from Foam as soon as it shows up, so I missed my chance. DL

This is my second sour IPA; however, this beer has an extra addition, salt. Passion and salt in a DIPA, intriguing combination. I used a tulip glass and served the beer around 46 degrees. The pour created a massive two-fingered airy and pillowy off-white head. The steady fall of the head left little lacing on the glass. The color charts around SRM 6, pale golden with light straw yellow hues. The clarity is somewhat hazy.
The aromas in the beer are passion fruit, oranges, toasted crackers, salt, pineapple, a hint of floral, and some earthiness.
I taste passion fruit, oranges, pineapple, mangos, oranges, floral esters, salt, toasted crackers, earthiness, and herbal.
The mouthfeel is soft and astringent.
The body of the beer is medium, low carbonation, and somewhat lingering finish.
This beer is unusual. The passion fruit is strong, followed by the salt. I am not a fan of this beer, but I understand what the brewers wanted. Good beer for they intended, just not for me.

Pours bright and yellow with not as much initial head as I would have expected, but good retention and lacing. Aroma is grapefruit, mango and other tropical fruits. Overall, an enticing aroma even from a few feet away.
First taste took me by surprise, as I didn't realize this had salt in it, and that was very noticeable right from the jump. I'm halfway through the can and still not sure if I like it or not. There's a nice passionfruit flavor with a bit of grapefruit, but the salt addition is what I'm trying to get used to. Relatively soft feel and medium carb.
Overall, I think this is exactly what the brewer was going for, but I'm not sure it's my favorite twist on a DIPA.

Poured into a 13 oz Teku glass canned on 5/12/21. Pours a hazy yellow orange with a finger sticky white head that, leaves some spotty lace with nice retention. 4.5
Aroma passionfruit, sea salt, grapefruit, and lemon. 4
Taste follows and this is a perfect blend of sour and NEDIPA. Passionfruit and sea salt start out and then it hits you with lemon and grapefruit slightly sour but pretty well balanced throughout. 4
Mouthfeel is above medium, a tad sticky not really dry, fairly soft carbonation, and at 8.5% it is big on flavor bust still pretty easy going down. 4.25
Overall this is a really nice beer and a great change of pace. Foam Brewers rarely let you down and this one is no different. Really a interesting treat. 4.25
