Lovely straw color. Nice head upon pour with good level of carbonation. Crispness-to-smoothness balance leans a bit toward the smooth side for a Pilsner which is probably the “American” aspect. Saaz hops seem to be the most prominent. Solid Pilsner that I will definitely drink again.

From the can, it pours a clear golden color with a large white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets a nice dose of citrus with some flowery notes - I guess that is why they call it an "American Pils." The mouth gets a light bitterness with a smooth mouthfeel.

 

Clear, bright gold appearance with a large white head that left a fair amount of lacing. Aroma of herbal hops. a little yeast and a little crusty bread. Hops remain prominent on the tongue. More floral and herbal up front with a spicier profile in the aftertaste. Malts do a good job adding balance. Flavorful, medium bodied mouthfeel.

A great hoppy pilsner (they call it an American Pilsner which is a perfect title). It has Saaz, Saphir, Citra and Strata hops. Very very tasty beer.
