We used to make a classic style Cream Ale called Covington, but people kept asking us why it didn't contain vanilla and why it wasn't served on nitro... So, we whipped up this dry and crispy lager, a Classic American style Pilsner under the same moniker. Covington (ver 2.0) is brewed with a big dose of flaked maize in the mash and finished with plenty of Hallertau Mittelfruh hops offering bright and hoppy floral flavor and aromas, an easy drinkin' light body, and a snappy, refreshing and clean finish! If you've been missing our good ole Cream Ale, then you're gonna love Covington American Pilsner!

Oh yeah, like Ringo on his drum set, this one bangs. It’s just so damn clean and smooth that it could put the Brawny man out of the job. It just hits you nice and well like a 2009 Andre Ethier double in the gap. I’m outta here.

Peace!

Can from beer mule Watsonville ca.
Look: straw yellow with white fluffy head.
Smell: honey, white bread, berries.
Taste: berry sweet, honey, French bread.
Feel: creamier than usual pils. No evidence of 6% alcohol.
Overall: apparently this was based on a cream ale recipe. Does indeed taste fruitier and creamier than standard pils.

Spent way too much money on a bunch of beer from North Park Beer Company, Windmill Farms and Bine & Vine. Woof. Was surprised I hadn’t this yet. Description from their to-go website read, “We used to make a classic style Cream Ale called Covington, but people kept asking us why it didn't contain vanilla and why it wasn't served on nitro... So, we whipped up this dry and crispy lager, a Classic American style Pilsner under the same moniker. Poured a medium yellow clear color with two fingers of white frothy head. Plenty of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass, kind of looking like a snow globe. Decent watery lacing. Good retention. (Sight - 3.75)

Smelled sourdough bread, Corn Flakes, biscuit, cracker, grass, hay, herbal, Noble hops, white glue and dry tobacco? (Smell - 3.75)

Taste was so much better. Wow. In order got Noble hops, sourdough bread, Corn Flakes, grass, hay, biscuit, cracker, herbal and tobacco. (Taste - 4.25)

Light body. Thin texture. Lively carbonation. Dry finish. (Feel - 4.25)

This one grew on me as it went down. An outstanding pilsner. (Overall - 4.00)
