Brewed with our east coast family at Fidens Brewing Company and in honor of Steve and Raquel's love of sunshine, "Permanent Sunshine" is our latest TDH Hazy TIPA with boatloads of Freestyle Motueka, Freestyle Nelson, Citra, Citra Incognito and Galaxy hops. We are getting big tasting notes of zesty lime, tangy lemonhead candy, tropical passion fruit and bright orange that are radiating beautifully on each sip. The only thing better than sharing beer with your friends and family is sharing beer in the sunshine with them, so make that a permanent habit and take some time to stop and smell the sunflowers.

Grabbed a 4-pack of this on a recent trip to North Park Beer Co. Was looking forward to another hazy TIPA from North Park. North Park’s website called for “Brewed with our east coast family at Fidens Brewing Company and in honor of Steve and Raquel's love of sunshine, "Permanent Sunshine" is our latest TDH Hazy TIPA with boatloads of Freestyle Motueka, Freestyle Nelson, Citra, Citra Incognito and Galaxy hops. Poured a bright light golden color with 2-to-3 fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see some bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Outstanding retention. (Sight - 4.25)

Citra jumped out on the nose. Also dank Nelson, Tang, tangerine, Lemonheads, lime, passion fruit, Galaxy, peach, nectarine, pineapple, grapefruit, pine and viney berry. About as good on the nose from the can. (Smell - 4.50)

Tasted almost as good as the nose but not quite. Citra still dominated the taste like the nose. Also dank Nelson, Tang, tangerine, orange juice, Lemonheads candy, lime, nectarine, peach, Galaxy, passion fruit, floral, viney berry, pine, coconut and hints of the mentioned Motueka. Super smooth for 10.0 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.50)

Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, smooth finish. (Feel - 4.50)

Another banger from North Park. So damn good. (Overall - 4.50)

Canned on 5/10/22; consumed on 6/4/22

Pours a turbid, sunflower-gold body capped with a finger and a half of soapy, white foam; decent head retention leaves a slight, frothy cap along with a similar collar and a haphazard spatter of webby/spotty lacing holding to the walls of the glass.

Aroma resounds with creamy mango enmeshed in fresh orange pulp upfront, with lemony citrus finding a light grapefruit detraction as tangerine embraces peach syrup; hints of white grape accent earthy tropical undertones of papaya peel and musty jackfruit as the bouquet closes.

Taste brings dank peach and mango peel into clementine and orange pulp for a substantial citric burst over the mid-palate, followed by subtle grapefruit rind edged with papaya as distant passionfruit esters finish.

Mouthfeel shows a medium body and lower-end carbonation, focusing on a subtle grit building to a resinous prickle into the mid-palate; a juicy back end is bolstered by a pseudo-creamy fluff, minimally bitter on the finish.

At the pinnacle of ripeness is a vividly expressive, tropical fruit saturation steadied against lush darkness in an elusive marriage between resinous overload and a tamely structured profile; a mastery of attenuation and hoppy radiance in the high-ABV NEIPA form.

Sweet stonefruity tropical hoppy, hint of orange, and hint of floral lemony citrus nose on this one! Taste follows with a flavorful and balanced, tropical hoppy and lemony orange citrus bitter finish. As it warms, some TDH hop-burn starts to dominate the backend a bit...but, I am having this extremely fresh a few days after the canning date. This will settle in quite nicely in a week or so. The Nelson addition is there, but it is in more of a supporting role in this one. This feels good and is juicy-soft on the palate. Outstanding!!!
