Glass: Pure Project 14-oz. snifter elemental (water) glass
Price: $28.00 for a 4-pack
From: North Park Beer Company in North Park (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: June 8, 2022
Consumed: June 11, 2022
Misc.: Canned on June 7, 2022; Split (2/4) with Sonny (1/4) and Kevin (1/4)
Grabbed a 4-pack of this and two others while picking up my BBA Mostra Before Dying bottle. Brought this to a June 10 bottleshare and gave a taster of it a 4.50 on Untappd, just writing “Yuss!” North Park’s website described it as “Triple Dry Hopped Hazy Quadruple India Pale Ale hopped with Citra, Citra Cryo, Citra Incognito, Nelson, Nelson CGX and Galaxy.”
Poured a bright light golden hazy color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Could see lots of bubble streams coming up along the sides of the glass. World-class uneven foamy lacing. World-class foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled really great from the beginning. Got Citra, Nelson, Galaxy, dank pine, resin, grapefruit, peach, passion fruit, gooseberry, orange, tangerine, Tang, dank pine, mango, lime, lemon, melon and herbal. Even better from the can. Damn. This was awesome on the nose. (Smell - 4.50)
Tasted almost as good as the nose. Damn. Was practically getting all that 13.0 pct. ABV. Got Citra, Nelson, Galaxy, dank pine, spicy resin, grapefruit, bitter peach skin, passion fruit, gooseberry, orange rind, tangerine, Tang, mango, lime, lemon, melon, herbal and lingering peppery spice. (Taste - 4.50)
Medium body. Creamy texture. Lively carbonation. Long, bitter, spicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Just awesome. North Park needs more 13.0 pct. hazies. Just as good as most of Pure Project’s 13.0 percenters. (Overall - 4.50)

Canned on 6/7/22; consumed on 7/15/22
Pours a turbid, milky mango-gold body topped with two fingers of rich, fluffy, slightly off-white foam; decent head retention yields a thin layer of cap, a moderate, frothy collar, and soapy dotting of webby/spotty lacing spread tentatively around the walls of the glass.
Aroma wafts an airy tropical subtext beneath juicy resins and jackfruit fusel; waxy red grapefruit eases to fresh mango and peach zest, while shreds of white grape provide a dank interlude before a more candied grapefruit tone and quiet florality close.
Taste opens to candied apricot with hearty hints of jackfruit steadily enlivening by sweet peach zest and a subtle, boggy dank underscored with waxy white grape and shreds of papaya.
Mouthfeel shows a medium-full body and carbonation on the lower end of moderate, leaving warm resins and a juicy underbelly reaching across the mid-palate to more taut textures and a subtle creaminess on the back end; silky with a light prickle on the finish.
Ultra-saturated with ripe resins to counter a burly 13% ABV, underripe fruits gloss over and effectively envelope the warmth in what is an impressive maintenance of a massive haze profile nearly too intense for its own good.

Sweet tropical hoppy, orange-tangerine citrus, hint of white wine grape, and hint of citrus boozy nose on this one! Taste follows with a orange citrus hoppy bitter and hint of boozy finish. As it warms, a little hop burn peaks out and the booziness on the backend becomes more prominent. That being said, for being 13% ABV and TDH'd, this is put together well and is enjoyable to drink. Great stuff!
