Collaboration with Evil Twin Brewing
Our latest hoppy lager is a collaboration with our good friends from Evil Twin Brewing. “Evil Cup” is loaded up with a sinister amount of El Dorado, El Dorado Cryo and El Dorado Incognito that is packing a mouthwatering punch of watermelon, candied lemon and bright orange tasting notes. Drink this one responsibly because it is dangerously crushable or maybe just dangerous **insert maniacal laugh here**.

Glass: Pure Project .5L pilsner glass
Price: $17.00 for a 4-pack
From: North Park Beer Company in North Park (San Diego), Calif.
Purchased: June 2, 2022; Received June 2, 2022
Consumed: June 8, 2022
Misc.: Collaboration with Evil Twin; Canned on May 31, 2022; Split (1/4) with Sonny (2/4) and Kevin (1/4)
Sonny picked up a four-pack of this and I ended up with one. North Park’s website called it “Our latest hoppy lager is a collaboration with our good friends from Evil Twin Brewing. “Evil Cup” is loaded up with a sinister amount of El Dorado, El Dorado Cryo and El Dorado Incognito that is packing a mouthwatering punch of watermelon, candied lemon and bright orange tasting notes. Drink this one responsibly because it is dangerously crushable or maybe just dangerous **insert maniacal laugh here**.” We’ll see where this ranks on my insanely high North Park “Cup” scale, giving Party Cup a 4.69 on May 30, 2020 and Wizard Cup a 4.41 on Oct. 11, 2020.
Poured a pale-to-medium yellow clear color with two fingers of frothy off-white head. Lots of fast-moving bubbles coming up from the bottom and sides of the glass, kind of looking like a snow globe. Outstanding foggy-to-watery lacing. Almost perfect foamy retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled El Dorado right away. Specifically watermelon, orange, pineapple, grapefruit, pear, peach, lemon, lime and grass. Just as good from the can. (Smell - 4.25)
Tasted about as good as the nose and followed it as well. In order got El Dorado, watermelon, purple grape, lemon zest, orange, pineapple, grapefruit, peach, pear, kiwi, green apple, lime and grass. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Thin-to-oily texture. Lively carbonation. Clean, crisp finish. (Feel - 4.75)
This was an excellent lager. Nowhere as good as Party Cup and not as good as Wizard Cup, but still solid. (Overall - 4.25)
