A pale cerveza with a touch of lime citrus and a soft salt finish. The citrus catches you first in the nose followed by a burst of lime in the finish. The base beer is our low-carb lager which is light and easy drinking.

473 mL can from the LCBO; dated Mar 24 2025 and served slightly chilled.
Pours a clear, effervescent pale golden colour, kicking up one finger of loose, soapy white head that largely vanishes within ninety seconds. A frothy collar and cap live on, with good lace deposition after each sip - looks great so far, but the nose is a bit of a letdown. Grainy malts, boiled vegetables and a very meek hint of lime.
Not great, but I've had worse. Faint lime zest & fainter sour lime at the forefront, sidelined by grainy malts and doughy sweetness by mid-sip. Hints of boiled vegetables & brine on the back end, with lime pithiness dissipating into an off-dry aftertaste. Thin-bodied, with assertive carbonation that prickles the palate continuously throughout each sip. Easy enough to slog back, but there are dozens of other lagers I'd rather be drinking.
Final Grade: 3.19, a C+. The lime flavours are unimpressive, as is the underlying low-cal lager. In all fairness, I am admittedly not the target demographic for this kind of brew... but still, I've tried my fair share of light lime lagers over the years, and LagerShed Salted Lime doesn't compare favourably to most of them. Heck, I'm not even sure if I'd take this over Bud Light Lime. I'd drink this if it were free, e.g. if it were in a cooler at a party (and the only other option was Michelob Ultra), but I don't see myself buying it again.
