Crowler filled on 1/17/2025; consumed on 7/17/2025
Pours a foggy, rusty orange hue capped with a finger of creamy, dingy white foam; mediocre head retention yields a limited few spotty islands of paper-thin cap, modest collar, and thin splotches of webby lacing draped down the walls of the glass.
Aromas waft freshly toasted coconut as a creamy expanse evolves through milky cinnamon throughout, peaking at an explosive Horchata impulse overtaking the senses.
Taste opens with toasted coconut husk phasing into soft creamer overlay, leaving deft cinnamon char accents and a corny, cereal grain undertone.
Mouthfeel offers a medium-full body alongside a gentle carbonation; comprehensive creaminess overwhelms, though never explicitly saccharine; somewhat sticky on the back end yet a vague crispness finds equilibrium.
A touch overindulgent, though presents to expectations; best understood as a Horchata-styled cream ale.
