8oz pour at the Costa Mesa location. Served in a kind of fluted wineglass.
Pours clear, burnished gold, big creamy head that settles into a dense, rocky topography. Smell is a very pleasing funk, hay and earthiness, a little spicy, maybe some lemon.
Taste is light, crisp, clean funk, wood and cut greens. Clear but not dominant citrus.
Mouthfeel is very light, crisp, clean. Overall, this is pretty darn good.
