We’ve gone through great lengths to refine the process to yield a Rich and Creamy Flavor and mouth feel to show case the decadent flavors yet leave the harsh taste that dark grains can often leave behind. Incredible mouthfeel yet not cloyingly sweet to aid in its drinkability.

Great beer! I'm not very good at describing all the characteristics of a beer, but I will say I love the flavor of this beer. It isn't overpowering, but isn't too subtle. It has a delicious smell to it. Definitely would recommend this beer! Great job Equilibrium!

Deep brown pour with a small light brown head and light carbonation. The smell and taste are malt, malt, malt. Very lightly sweet, but nothing like a pastry stout or porter. An excellent straight, non-BA porter, that I would definitely drink again!

One of best porters I've ever had. Complex, intense, more malty or yeasty than chocolate. Slight sweetness, but certainly not syrupy, no resemblance to a "dessert" beer, more bitter than sweet. Good level or carbonation. Very dark color.

16 oz can into a nonick pint glass.
L: Pours very dark brown bordering on black colored with a 1/4" dark khaki flat head that recedes to thin skin and edge foam, light carbo, light spotty lacing.
S: Molasses, cocoa, caramelization, deep char, yeasty toasted waffle.
T: Sweet & cooked brittle caramel malts, dark milk chocolate, molasses, malted milk ball, coffee, char, a suggestion of milk, lightly earthy, distant dried dark fruits.
F: Gently brisk smooth medium-heavy bodied mouthfeel that has a slightly soft medium-long finish.
O: Very nice flavors, leans sweet overall, has a good level of char that isn't dirty, subtly earthy, and pairs well with foods even though it is a little sweet. It is excellent in its style.

Copenhagen 17/10 2020. 50 cl bottle from Best of Beers web-shop. 3D rendering of what looks like a stylized bagel on the label.

Pours opaque, dark brown with a small beige head. A bit bubbly. Settles as thin rim of foam running along the side of the glass. No lacing.

Aroma is moderately intense with a medium strong sweet odor with light but sharp coffee notes. Rich cocoa, brown sugar, caramel. Hints of leather.

Light carbonation. Thick, viscous, smooth, silken and soft texture.

Flavor is intense with strong sweetness followed by a medium srong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter and lingers for a while. Finish is dark and semi-dry.

Subtle yet delicious. Well balanced even though the nose is bit subdued.

Appearance: Pours a completely dark, black color with a minimal head. SRM of 24. (3.50)

Aroma: Strong aromas of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, roast in hints of dark fruit. (3.75)

Aroma: Strong flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, smooth, dark fruit, and light roast. Finishes, sweet. (4.00)

Feel: Medium body, low carbonation, finishes slightly heavy and sweet. (3.75)

Compared to Founders Porter 2/25: Pours darker, milder head. Milder aromas. More rich chocolate and dark fruit. Less cocoa, roast, and smoothness. Sweeter.

Overall: Pours with zero head. Picks up on the flavor with sweet dark chocolate and dark fruit. Leans sweet. Pretty good, but seems undercarbonated. (Rating: 3.89)
